  1. Open the dialer and dial *8# from your Zong SIM before pressing the Call/Send/OK button.
  2. Immediately, you will see your Zong SIM number displayed on your screen. Take the screenshot or note it down somewhere.

Note: If *8# does not work you can also dial *2#, *5#, or *100#.

2. Send a Free Text Message to Zong

The text message we are talking about here is not a regular one. Rather, it is an SMS to a dedicated number you can use to check your Zong SIM card mobile number. It may not be a free service, so it will be better if you have some balance on the SIM card. Take the following steps to use this service.

  1. Open the SMS text messaging app on your phone. 
  2. Type MNP in the message box.
  3. Send the SMS from the Zong SIM to 667.
  4. In a few seconds, you will receive an SMS in which there will be the Zong mobile number, the SIM owner’s name, and its activation date.

3. Dial the Zong Customer Service number

The customer helpline number for Zong is 310. Just call the helpline from the Zong SIM card whose number you wish to know. Speak to the customer care representative and ask him to tell the SIM card’s phone number. Before telling you the number, the agent may ask for the SIM owner’s name and some other details for verification. After that, they will tell you the number so jot it down.

4. Visit the official website of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA)

PTA provides an online system for the people of Pakistan to know their mobile phone numbers. To do this, just follow the simple steps given below.

  1. Visit the official website of PTA.
  2. Enter your valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) number in the given field.
  3. The information related to your phone number will display on the screen.

The methods mentioned in this article are not all necessarily free. The SMS service may be chargeable. Also, to use the website you need to have a working internet connection which is again a paid service. Luckily, these methods are quick and easy, so even laymen or non-tech-savvy people can use them.
