Telus Mobility, commonly referred to as Telus, is the second-largest mobile operator in Canada with more than 10.6 million users as of 2020. On its inception, the company was known as AGT Mobility and was established in Edmonton, Alberta, in 1983. Currently, its headquarters are situated in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Telus offers a wide range of products and services including a huge variety of prepaid plans for voice, text, and data. The company also allows a variety of methods to recharge a Telus SIM card with prepaid plans. We provided several important ways to recharge your Telus phone number in this article.
1. Recharge SIM Card Through My Telus Website
Telus’ official website allows you to recharge your Telus prepaid number without downloading any apps. You can access the website from any device equipped with an internet connection. Follow these simple steps to recharge any Telus prepaid number.
- Visit the official Telus website.
- Log in to your My Telus profile using your Telus number.
- Click on the Overview tab.
- Click the Top-up your account option.
- Select the mode of payment from the menu, i.e., Credit Card, Visa Debit Card, or Interac Debit Card.
- Select your desired top-up amount or plan.
- Fill out the required card details.
- Click Continue.
- Wait for the recharge confirmation notification and don’t close the page before that occurs. If the amount is deducted from your debit/credit card, that doesn’t mean your recharge is successfully done yet. The top-up amount will be added to your Telus account balance after the recharge confirmation is received.
Note. Before using your debit/credit card for making payments, you need to register it on your My Telus account either on the official website, the My Telus app or via your prepaid phone. Once your card is registered, the card information will be saved on the Telus server. Therefore, you won’t need to enter any card details for any future transactions.
2. Renew Balance Using My Telus Mobile App
The carrier has developed an official app and named it My Telus. You can download it either from the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS) depending on the operating system of your smart device. You can recharge your Telus prepaid via the app in a few straightforward steps below.
- Open the app and log in to your My Telus account.

- Enter the required card details.
- Tap Continue.
3. Recharging Through Automatic Top-ups
If you set up an automatic top-up, you can stay carefree about running out of balance. This feature will reload your Telus prepaid automatically. However, be alert to keep a sufficient balance in your account, i.e., an amount equal to the monetary number you selected for auto-renewal. You can set up automatic top-ups either online or over the phone. The steps to set up automatic top-up online are:
- Log in to My Telus account either on the official Telus website or on My Telus app.
