Telus Mobility Inc. is a Canadian wireless carrier operating in the country. It is a division of Telus Communications, a company that sells wireless services across Canada. The company was established in 1983 in Edmonton, Alberta but has its headquarters in Vancouver. Telus Mobility also has a subsidiary wireless carrier named Koodo, whose SIM card activation targets young customers such as school, college, and university students. Telus Mobility has 10.6 million subscribers as of 2020, making it the second-largest wireless network operator in Canada. With such a large customer base and market share across the country, it’s undoubtedly important to learn how to manage your account and check the balance of your Telus Mobility SIM card.
There are two primary ways of checking Telus connection prepaid and postpaid balance:
- Via My Telus mobile app
- Using My Telus Account web portal
Check the Balance of Telus Mobility SIM Card using My Telus App
Telus provides a mobile application named My Telus to its subscribers. It helps you to manage your mobile account conveniently on the go. Apart from checking balance, there are many more features you can use: add-ons, bill payment, topping up your prepaid credit, etc.
Important. The TELUS My Account app is eligible only for consumer prepaid and postpaid accounts and some selected business accounts. Corporate/Enterprise accounts are not eligible to use the app at this time.
Prepaid balance
Here’s how to use the My Telus app to perform a prepaid balance check:

- Click on the Billing button.

- Click on Log In before signing in to your My Telus account.
- Tip. If you don’t have an account already, create one.

- Click on Device Balance.
- Now you can view your plan start date and end date and device balance.

You don’t need to have any technical skills, either. Therefore, an average user has multiple choices based on their payment plan, situation, and convenience.
