International Mobile Equipment Identity number is a unique code every phone has. Be it a normal or a smartphone. Every mobile phone or modem has this code present in the device. Different Ways to Check IMEI number

2. Box of the Device
If you have lost your phone and there is a need for IMEI if you think it is stolen. If you have not noted the number using the previous method, you can look at the device’s box if you still have it at home. It might be available on the exterior of the box.
3. Android Phone
Though we have the USSD code technique already given, there is an alternative for Android users. You can use the below-mentioned steps to get the IMEI number too –
- Open the Settings on your phone
- Click on About Phone. You must scroll down to find this option

4. iPhone
There is no new way to find the IMEI in iPhone. You will go to the settings section to find it. Use the following steps –

6. Google Dashboard
If none of the methods is possible as you have lost the phone. You still do not have the box of the device, there is a last resort and that is Google’s dashboard. This is the method that shall be handy in dire straits.
- Open myaccount.google.com/dashboard.
- Sign in to your account.
- Select Android. As you click that, you will find the list of devices linked with Google.
- Click on Find Your Device.
- Now, Click on the ‘Information icon’ on the left top corner.
You will find the IMEI number of the device.
