There are two ways to perform this action: through the Hotlink app, and using the USSD code. Steps to take using the app are:

Open the Hotlink app.
Tap on the Top-Up option.
Select the Ask-A-Top-Up option.
Enter the recipient’s mobile number whom you want to ask for the top-up credit.
Select the top-up amount you want to ask for.
Tap the Send button.
Wait for the confirmation after your request is placed successfully.

Utilize USSD Code

Steps to ask for top-up via USSD code are:

Dial *100*4*3# from your Hotlink prepaid mobile number.
A flash message will pop up asking you to enter the recipient’s Hotlink mobile number from whom you want to ask for the top-up credit. Enter their mobile number and tap the Send button.
After that, another flash message will appear to enter the amount of top-up you want to ask for. Type any amount from RM 1 to RM 100. Press the Send button.
