How to Check Balance in Jazz SIM Card?

Jazz is the leading service provider in Pakistan serving both business and individual clients. 1. Inspect Your Balance Using USSD Code

USSD code is the most common way to check the prepaid SIM balance since the inception of prepaid mobile technology. You don’t necessarily need to have a smartphone to use them. They work with even the most basic phones. To check the balance in Jazz prepaid using the USSD code, follow the given steps.

  1. Open the dial pad of your phone having your Jazz SIM card.
  2. Dial *111# or *444*6*2#.
  3. Press the OK/Call/Send button.
  4. In a couple of seconds, you will receive a flash message showing your remaining balance and its expiry date.

This method is not free. It will charge you 0.24 PKR from your prepaid account for the balance inquiry service. Most USSD codes are free but in this particular case, they are not. Hence, you need to have sufficient balance left to use this method.

2. Check SIM Card Balance Through the Jazz World App

The Jazz World app is the official mobile application launched by Jazz for its consumers. The app is available to both Android and Apple users. You can download the app from Google Play Store or App Store depending on your phone’s operating system (OS). It is completely free. However, you need to have a data balance to use it otherwise the data charges will be deducted from your main balance. The app has multiple features like checking data usage, paying postpaid bills, recharging your prepaid account online, balance sharing, and daily free rewards in the form of data or calling minutes. Checking the balance is a simple process:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Register your account using your Jazz number.
  3. Log in and open the app.
  4. On the main dashboard, you will see your main prepaid balance and remaining data balance too.

Note: This method works only if you have a smart device like a smartphone or tablet. The app doesn’t work on computers, laptops, and feature/regular phones.

3. Looking Up Balance Via WhatsApp 

For ease, Jazz has introduced a ‘Self Service’ method you can employ to inquire about your prepaid balance on WhatsApp as well. Through this service, you can easily check your Jazz prepaid balance and your active package-related information. To use this service, follow the simple instructions given below.

  1. Open your dial pad and save the number 03003008000.
  2. Now open your WhatsApp and send Hi to the saved number.
  3. Next, type 4 and send. In a fraction of a second, you will see all your balance-related information on your WhatsApp screen.

This method also uses data so make sure you have sufficient data balance else it will get deducted from the main account balance of your Jazz prepaid.

4. Checking Your SIM Balance Through Jazz Customer Support

Like nearly every telecom operator, Jazz has a 24×7 available helpline number. To contact the customer care representative, you can call either 111 or 111 300 300 from your Jazz mobile number. The service is chargeable at 0.72 PKR per minute. After you make the call, the voice prompts will assist you further to make the process easy, so listen to them carefully. The helpline number is toll-free, and the service staff is always ready.

When you call the helpline number, you can ask them to check the balance and expiry of your Jazz prepaid SIM card. You can also inquire about other things such as your local network issue, problems related to your prepaid account, or complaint registration. Further, you can subscribe or unsubscribe to a package offered by the company.
